21. Punjab CM said that decision on the lifting of lockdown/curfew would be taken on the basis of recommendations of the 20-member expert committee, which is expected to submit its report on Saturday.

Nine Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)  personnel on Friday tested positive for the novel coronavirus in Delhi, The personnel from the 31st battalion of the force underwent tests when 'contact tracing' was done after a head constable working as a nursing assistant was declared COVID-19 positive a few days back, The nursing assistant is part of the 162nd battalion deployed in Kupwara of Jammu and Kashmir and was in the national capital region (Noida) on leave.

24. Parashurama Jayanti is celebrated this year on the 25th of April. he is known as the sixth avatar of Vishnu. Parshuram was the sixth Avatar of Vishnu. He was the son of sage Jamadagni and Renuka. Rishi Jamadagni was known for his temper. Parshuram was a devotee of Shiva and he received a Parshu (a weapon) from Lord Shiva as a boon thus the name Parshram was given to him.
