Observed to commemorate the day the Indian
Navy successfully executed Operation Trident
(an attack on Pakistani Naval HQ in Karachi

ON 4 DEC 1971

In a Battle that lasted just 90 min, Indian Navy
sank four enemy vessels including a cargo ship
carrying ammunition and destroyed the fuel
storage facility at the Karachi harbour, Indian
navy killed 500 Pakistannavy personnel, before successfully returning to Mumbai without a single
Indian casualty. Pakistan Navy was completely
annihilated. The Karachi Harbour was Burning for 7 Day,Total of $3 Billion Loos Done.

This Day is Celebrated as Indian Navy Day

Navy Day in India is observed on 4 December every year to celebrate the achievements and role of the naval force to the country. The Indian Navy is the marine branch of the Indian Armed Forces and is led by the President of India as Commander-in-Chief. The Maratha Emperor, Chhatarpati Shivaji Bhosle of the 17th century is considered as "Father of the Indian Navy".
