1. The second edition of the Indian Air Force's multinational air exercise TARANG SHAKTI 2026 will be conducted from 26th September to 12th October at Air Force Station, Jodhpur and adjoining air bases
2. DRDO is preparing to move its 30-kW-class directed-energy counter-drone system toward production through an industry partnership. Reports sav the svstem is desianed to counter drones at ranges of up to about 5 km.
3. India and Japan discussed expanding defence-technology cooperation, ioint military exercises and Indo-Pacific security during talks in New Delhi. The Japanese delegation also visited Indian institutions involved in technology and defence-related work
