General Shen Yi-ming
In early January 2020, Taiwan's chief of general staff general Shen Yi-ming and seven others were killed when the helicopter they were on crashed in mountains near Taipei. Shen was the senior-most official in the Taiwanese military and a key figure in its air force.

Gen Bipin Rawat, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) was on a visit to Defence Services Staff College, Wellington (Nilgiri Hills) to address the faculty and student officers of the Staff Course today.
