An Indian Army's helicopter has made a crash-landing in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district, in which, two pilots were injured. The chopper has crash-landed near a brigade headquarters in Lakhanpur area of Kathua district, the Indian Army has confirmed. Reports quoting eyewitness suggest that an advanced light helicopter 'Dhruv' crashed after getting caught in wires.

DRDO conducts successful maiden test launch of Akash-NG Missile
"The missile intercepted the target with textbook precision. The launch met all the test objectives by performing high manoeuvres during the trajectory," said the Ministry of Defence. They added that the performance of the Command and Control system, onboard avionics and aerodynamic configuration of the missile was successfully validated during the trial.
Training of Indian military specialists for S-400 air defence systems to begin in Russia
Russian envoy to India Nikolay Kudahsev has termed the agreement on S-400 supplies as one of the "flagship initiatives" of bilateral and military-technical cooperation. Both India and Russia are jointly working on a number of projects on production of military equipment, components and spare parts. Under the AK203 Kalashnikovs contract, more than 700 thousand items are expected to be produced at the Indo-Russian Rifles joint venture in India.
