Highlights of 71th Republic Day Prade 2020


Jair Bolsonaro is the third Brazilian President to be invited as Chief Guest for India’s Republic Day Parade.

For the first time, PM Narendra Modi paid homage to martyrs at the National War Memorial instead of the Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate.

Captain Tanya Shergil, led an all-male marching contingent of the Indian Army Corps of Signals. The motto of the Corps is “Teevra Chaukas”.

The Parade included a total of 22 tableaux including 16 from various states and union territories and remaining 6 from various ministries.

A contingent of CRPF women bikers led by
Inspector Seema Nag; made history by performing daredevil stunts.

Su-30 MKIs of Indian Air Force execute the 'Trishul' manoeuvre. The formation is being led by Group Captain Nishit Ohri.
