- ⭐️ Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched BHIM , RuPay & SBI mobile payment applications in Singapore at a business event focussed on digital platforms.

- Prime Minister of Spain Mariano Rajoy lost a confidence vote in the Parliament today.

- ⭐️ Uganda today passed a bill for "social media tax" imposing a daily fee of about 200 shillings (₹3.57) for using platforms like WhatsApp, Facebook, and Twitter.

- Denmark today voted in favour of a ban on full-face veils in public, including Islamic veils such as the niqab or burqa.  

- World's largest international maritime warfare exercise, RIMPAC (Rim of the Pacific Exercise) will be held from 27th June 2018 to 2nd August 2018.

- The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a first of it's kind monthly allowance of ₹1,000 each to unemployed graduate youths in the state with an upper age limit of 35.

- 14-year-old Indian-American boy, Karthik Nemmani, has won the 91st Scripps National Spelling Bee contest held annually in the US, becoming the 14th consecutive Indian-American champion in 11 consecutive years. 

- American rapper and songwriter Kendrick Lamar made history by becoming the first hip-hop artist to win a Pulitzer Prize for Music. 

- Justice Krishna Murari of the Allahabad High Court has been appointed as the as the Chief Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court.

- ⭐️ Vijay Mallya's son Siddarth has replaced him as the Director of Force India'.

- ⭐️ Lt Gen Ranbir Singh has been appointed as the new Northern Army commander.

- India and World Bank signed a 500 million Dollar loan agreement to provide additional financing for the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) Rural Roads Project.
