2)Panic at Delhi Airport As 17 Bullets Found in Washroom*

Panic had broken out at the Delhi Airport a little over two weeks ago when 17 live bullets were found in a washroom dustbin. Around 2 am on February 13, a man travelling to Amsterdam was caught with a bullet. He was arrested, then released on bail. Police are probing if the others belonged to him too.
Passengers carrying ammunition isn't uncommon, but "seizure of such a huge quantity is unusual," CISF said. Police suspect that the man dumped them when he saw police "but accidentally left one in his bag." However, there were no CCTV cameras.
Afterwards, security personnel were asked to check bags of all passengers in and around the airport. Cops said the bullets recovered in the washroom were similar to the one seized from the man.A case has been registered under the Arms Act and the consignment sent for forensic examination. If they are found to be of the same make, police will contact the passenger.

3)French President Macron to arrive in India on maiden visit*

French President Emmanuel Macron will arrive in India on March 9 on a four-day maiden visit, during which he would discuss bilateral economic, political and strategic ties, the MEA said today. A framework agreement on Jaitapur Nuclear Power Project is expected to be signed between the two sides during the visit. PM Modi will hold delegation-level talks with the French President on March 10.
"The visit of President Macron is aimed at strengthening the economic, political, and strategic dimension of our bilateral engagement," MEA statement said. The India-France CEO's Forum will also take place during Macron's visit, it said. The visit is aimed at forging not only strong manufacturing and technology partnerships but also greater people-to-people contacts, especially through greater exchanges of students and researchers, it added.
France is the ninth largest foreign investor in India, with a cumulative investment of $6.09bn from April 2000 to October 2017. Close to 1,000 French companies operate in India and about 120 Indian firms have invested in excess of €1 Bn in France.

4)World's largest solar park launched in Karnataka*

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday launched the world's largest solar park set up at an investment of Rs. 16,500 crore at Pavagada in the state's Tumakuru district. The 2,000 MW park, named as 'Shakti Sthala', spans across 13,000 acres spread over five villages and is a benchmark in the unique people's participation in power model put on the ground, according to officials.
The park's development is anchored by the Karnataka Solar Power Development Corporation Ltd (KSPDCL), an entity formed in March 2015 as a joint venture between Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd (KREDL) and Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
The project has been executed within a record time of two years, with zero land acquisition, Siddaramaiah said.
